Definition
The wet starch is suspended in the hot, high-speed air used in air stream dryers to carry out the drying process in the air flow. The air flow drying apparatus has a quick drying period, a large heat transfer area, and a high heat transfer coefficient.
Three different types of air stream dryers are offered by Senieer, each of which can dry non-viscous and viscous materials, loose materials, and semisolid materials. The final products are granular or powdery in texture.
The Air Stream Dryer is a low temperature, semi-closed dryer that may be used alone or as a pre-dryer in a two stage drying process with the Superheated Steam Dryer . Using heating medium like hot water, flue gases, low pressure steam, and others, the drying air is indirectly heated in a heat exchanger.
Through an air lock, wet goods is delivered into the dryer. The product is moved through specially made drying conduits, dried, and separated using a bag filter or an ultra-high efficiency cyclone. Through an air-lock, the dried product is expelled from the cyclone/bag filter’s bottom. To reduce the amount of energy required for drying, some of the air might be returned to the air heater.
Drying In Two Stages For Maximum Energy Efficiency
With all of its benefits, a superheated steam dryer may be deployed as a final dryer stage. The Air Stream Drier may utilize the generated steam from the superheated steam dryer as a heat source for drying. This results in a 50% reduction in drying energy compared to single stage drying.
The air stream drier can quickly dry a variety of items to the desired moisture content by using waste heat at low temperatures. When used with the Superheated Steam Dryer, the capacity is doubled while requiring just half the energy and area.
Air Stream Dryer Features
- heating of the drying medium indirectly
- High availability and efficiency
- Low atmospheric emissions Flexible operation Simple maintenance because there are not many rotating parts
- simple integration with other methods for maximizing energy
- Ideal for drying at low temperatures, a small foot print
Advantages Of Air Stream Dryer
- The drying tube, cyclone, fan, and other parts are what dry the air the most.
- High thermal efficiency causes materials to fully contact the hot air, conserving the most energy possible.
- Low labour intensity, low fan power, favourable working environment, low system resistance;
- The apparatus can be created with complete negative pressure, positive pressure, and negative pressure to accommodate various plants conditions for installation.
Application Of Air Stream Dryer
In the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries, the pulse air stream drier is appropriate for drying materials that are loose and have a low viscosity. The materials that can typically be dried by this air stream drying machine include methaqualone, ABC intermediates, ABS resin, A.S.C., white carbon black, powdered carbon, titanium dioxide, activated carbon, sodium fluosilicate, silica powder, synthetic resin, calcium phosphate, polypropylene resin, chlortetracycline, sodium metasilicate, sodium sulphate, sulphide ore, phosphate rock powder, etc
Senieer focuses on developing and producing air stream drying equipment. We have worked diligently over the years to develop and manufacture drying, granulating, grinding, and mixing equipment. Pulse air stream dryers are well-liked in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Malaysia, India, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh, Singapore, Nigeria, and Mexico because to their benefits of simple operation, consistent performance, and affordable prices.
